It’s A Wrap

There’s nothing like the summer months, when you can walk around in short sleeves or bare arms, when the sun is shining, the ocean begin to warm up and there is a breeze in evenings when taking a walk past a lake by the trees.

Whether you are in a metropolitan area working during the week and packing for weekend getaways at your summer house or visiting a friend at the beach or in the country, Inhabit’s cotton foundation wear—tanks, T-shirts in V-necks and crew necks are the basics you will want to bring. But what will change up your look is our organic cotton scarf and shawl. We have one style of each in tonal colors and both offer multiple ways to wear.

Take the scarf for example. It can be worn loosely and nonchalantly  around your neck, wrapped around your neck and then hung loosely on the sides or totally wrapped. All of these looks are perfect for work when you want something lightweight to dress up your lighter weight linen shirts, jackets or cotton tops.

Our shawl can be worn in the same three ways and offer even more options. Throw it around your neck and drape one side over one shoulder which is chick and effortless looking or you can drape it loosely to keep your arms warm on a cooler night by the ocean or in the country.

You can also wear the scarf as a sarong dress or a sarong skirt over a swimsuit by the pool, at the beach or on a boat. You can tie the sarong two different ways by taking two ends that are facing each other and tying them tightly which should create a draped effect. Of you can put the back of the scarf in the front and then bring the two ends of the scarf around and then tie it which will give you a little more coverage.

The best way to figure out the way you would want to wear your new Inhabit scarf or shawl is to get creative and play around with different options until you find those that suit your style best.
